H-E-B Works with Swisslog to Open Its Largest E-Commerce Fulfillment Center

H-E-B recently announced the opening of its largest e-commerce fulfillment center. Located in Katy, Texas, the facility is 100,000 square feet, which is twice the size of its previous facilities. The location further expands the retailer’s commitment to integrate innovative technologies that drive omnichannel growth and provide a more convenient and better shopping experience for Texans.

H-E-B said the new fulfillment center will:
• Help support the rising demand for online shopping
• Stock goods found in stores to fulfill curbside and home delivery orders
• Create less aisle congestion and better product availability for in-store shoppers
• Streamline processes and boost productivity with various forms of automation

This is the latest in a series of H-E-B facilities to feature AutoStore empowered by Swisslog and operating on synchronized intelligence from Swisslog’s SynQ software.
