Swisslog names Bill Stenger head of sales for the Americas region

Swisslog, leading provider of best-in-class warehouse automation and software, has announced Bill Stenger as the company’s new head of sales for the Americas region. In this position he will be leading Swisslog’s integrated solutions team and its AutoStore sales group.

Bill brings a wealth of perspective and knowledge to Swisslog with nearly 15 years' experience in the material handling industry. Before joining Swisslog, he served as the vice president of sales consulting at KNAPP, where he developed and led an effective business development initiative that established channel-specific messaging and strategies. Prior to this role, he served as sales director for food solutions, leading commercial efforts for micro-fulfillment center (MFC) go to market strategies in collaboration with Takeoff Technologies, as well as the delivery of KNAPP's first-ever fully robotized store replenishment solution deployed for The Kroger Company.
Before his nearly eight years at KNAPP, he served in numerous sales manager roles at Vanderlande, across the customer service, warehouse and parcel business units working with such customers as Amazon and DHL. Additionally, Bill actively serves as vice executive director of the MHI Solutions Community, an important industry association, in which Swisslog is a member.

As head of sales for the Americas region, Bill will bring a transformational focus to understanding customers’ unique needs and helping them understand Swisslog’s best-in-class solutions and software, including its CycloneCarrier shuttle system, ACPaQ automated mixed case palletizer, AutoStore and SynQ management software. Swisslog automation experts work closely with customers to determine which solution best fits their facility constraints, operational needs and business objectives.

SynQ not only optimizes the flow of the equipment to increase efficiency and accuracy of the operation, it also orchestrates the operation of multiple systems. It is equipping warehouse automation and IT systems with synchronized intelligence of people, processes and machines to boost the efficiency and productivity of warehouse processes and adapt to changing market requirements.
