Responsibilities
Make an impact
- As Manager Mechanical Design you will be responsible for managing and leading our mechanical design development team in Sweden
- The product portfolio in Sweden includes a shuttle system, an automatic storage and retrieval system and conveyor technology for unit loads on pallets.
- Your focus will always be on achieving the agreed targets within the agreed budgets and deadlines, working in close coordination with the development project managers, our Technical Lead Engineers and Product Owners.
- In addition to your cost center responsibility, you will also be responsible for planning your team's resources and actively supporting your team members in their personal development.
- In close coordination with the Product Owner, you and the Technical Lead Engineers will be responsible for implementing product improvements as part of product maintenance.
- Your area of responsibility will also include topics relating to international cooperation thanks to our international development department with additional teams in Germany and Austria.
- Your tasks will be rounded off by defining and implementing the processes in your area of responsibility in constant coordination with the overall processes.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study.
- You have already gained experience in the field of product development, design and documentation, ideally you also have experience in the field of intralogistics.
- Your profile is complemented by a strong technical understanding of mechatronic systems and experience in the field of mechanical design, including experience in engineering and mechanical calculations.
- Ideally, you have already gained first experiences in the field of leadership or are already experienced in this area.
- You have a high degree of initiative and enthusiasm and work independently, in a structured and systematic manner.
- You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
