We’re transforming performance and efficiency for customers across the globe, giving them the vital edge in their markets.   The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role involves working with the Team Leads and the Operations team coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, managing maintenance records, and collaborating with the Operations team.    The Maintenance Planner manages the Preventative Maintenance Program including creating and updating maintenance procedures, working with the team leaders to plan and schedule PM work orders, and creating BOM’s for repairs and rebuilds.    The maintenance planner will also assist the Parts and Procurement Specialist as needed by issuing purchase orders to replenish stock, restock the inventory, create new part information in the CMMS, and add any documentation to the CMMS. Assisting the Team Leaders and Technicians with using the CMMS and ensuring procedures are properly followed.

Responsibilities

Make an impact
  • Create, modify, and maintain Maintenance Plans in the CMMS
  • Work with the Team Leaders to plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Create Bill of Materials for repairs/rebuilds and purchase the necessary parts
  • Assemble required parts and consumables for planned repairs (kitting)
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and parts consumed.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports as needed for the customer and site Leadership
  • Assist with spare parts management, cycle counts, and audits  

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed Essential:
  • High School degree or higher education
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office program
  • Maintenance work experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment
  • Skilled in working with and reading technical documentation
  • Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills
Desirable:
  • Associate degree in engineering technology
  • Certification in maintenance planning
  • Proven track record managing large storeroom inventories, and experience in inventory software suites.
  • Experience in inventory software suites, including SAP
  • eMaint CMMS experience
  • Able to read BOM’s efficiently and translate that to inventory on hand and inventory required.
