Responsibilities

Make an impact

Field Service Engineer. Ideally based in the Midlands, with travel throughout the UK.  The role comes with a competitive salary, plus company car, paid overtime, expenses, company contributory pension, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus stats. As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance and project work on a variety of automated systems. Working on conveyors, autostore, ASRS cranes, power-store, racking systems, high-bays, pallet wrapping machines, packaging machinery and a variety of other equipment. Ensure adherence to all the relevant instructions and technical standards and help the customer to keep the systems in good working condition. Conduct training on subject matters with sufficient expertise to internal staff and / or customers / subcontractors / suppliers. Deal promptly with customer enquiries, complaints, or problems. Adhere to company and customer safety regulations.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed As a Field Service Engineer you will have a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Able to work safely at heights, with a good level of fitness. Able to demonstrate proficiency with normal range of hand and power tools. You will be a result oriented and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good customer service skills including being able to communicate at all levels. Willingness to take stand-by shifts and work outside normal working hours when required.
