As such they are supporting the Corporate Solution Owners with their expertise during the development of standardized solutions. The team’s secondary customer is the Global Strategic Account team which is concerned with large and complex global sales projects. There, the Strategy & Porfolio team either runs design projects themselves or enables the less experienced regional sales and engineering teams with their expertise.

Responsibilities
- You will translate our solution designers requirements into lean intralogistics layouts covering conveyor layouts as well as state-of-the-art ASRS technologies.
- You will verify developed CAD layouts with your stakeholders.
- You will adapt your work style (rapid high level concepting vs technical deep-level drawing) to suit the needs of your stakeholders.
- You will also support the continued development of Swisslog CAD module library for our standard solutions as well as maintain this library.
- You will create pictures, renderings and virtual walk-throughs of the designed solutions to support communication.
- You will share know-how and best practice with the wider CAD community.
- You will maintain version control for all critical documents and files.
Application Requirements
- You come equipped with 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Engineer developing large-scale intralogistics automation solutions covering pallet technologies as well as light goods technologies.
- You have a good understanding of automated warehouse operations (e.g. retail distribution, online order fulfilment).
- You are proficient in AutoDesk REVIT CAD and SketchUp. Experience with BIM is an asset
- Your ability to understand even the most complex pallet and light good conveyor systems is your strength.
- You are proficient in English in a business environment and are experienced in online collaboration with international teams
- You are a team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 20%.
