Swisslog Logistics Automation Americas Appoints Rodney Clemmer as Vice President of its Software and Controls Hub

Newport News, VA – Swisslog Logistics Automation Americas, leading provider of best-in-class intralogistics solutions, has appointed Rodney Clemmer as Vice President of its Software and Controls Hub which develops and integrates Swisslog’s SynQ Software Platform for the company’s warehouse automation clients.
Clemmer comes to Swisslog with a long track record of success in managing large software and controls teams in both development and implementation environments, including eight years with IBM and most recently ten years with GE. Markus Schmidt, President of Swisslog Logistics Automation Americas said, “Software and controls are one of Swisslog’s core competencies and Rodney’s depth of experience with two of the world’s leading technology companies will bring an additional level of professionalism to our team.”
Clemmer holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and earned a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and a Master’s in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
